Fore! It’s time to tee up for a cause that truly matters. You’re invited to be a part of our Charity Golf Event, where every swing has the power to make a difference in the lives of those in need.
On Friday, 19th July 2024, Friday (Afternoon Tee-Off) at the Tanah Merah Country Club Tampines Course, golf enthusiasts and philanthropists alike will come together to raise funds and awareness for Extra•Ordinary People (EPL). Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a weekend warrior, your participation can help provide essential support for persons with special needs. Mr Desmond Tan, Senior Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office, Deputy Secretary General, NTUC will be gracing us with his presence as Guest-of-Honour.
The event in its entirety promises to be an extraordinary experience, boasting enjoyable fringe activities throughout the afternoon for golfers. An Extra•Ordinary Appreciation Dinner will round off the evening with fun and honour all prize winners, all in gratitude to all who have contributed to our cause.
Extra•Ordinary People (EPL) is a registered charity and Institute of Public Character (IPC). Established in 2017, we holistically enable and support persons with special needs striving for an inclusive society through community-based supported initiatives.
Join us in supporting the special needs community! Your sponsorship, donations, or purchase of golf flights will help EPL reach its $250K fundraising goal during this charity golf event. The funds raised will significantly reduce program costs for low-income families we serve.

Our Previous Years' Charity Golf Challenges
Charity Golf Challenge 2023
Extraordinary People held our 2nd Charity Golf Challenge on 14 July 2023 at the Tanah Merah Country Club Tampines Course. Mr Desmond Tan, Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office, Deputy Secretary General, NTUC, was in attendance as Guest-of-Honour for the event.
Through our golfing guests’ donations and purchases of golf flights, Extraordinary People met our target of $250,000. Once again, we extend our deepest gratitude to all our sporting guests, enabling us to continue running essential programmes for families with special needs.
Funds raised from the event will heavily subsidise programme costs, significantly reducing the financial burden on the low-income families we serve.
Extraordinary People has been steadfast in our mission to meaningfully integrate persons with special needs into society through our various programmes as follows:
- Integrated Programme (7 to 18 years old) – A comprehensive approach to improving a child’s cognitive functionality. Therapists use a curated curriculum based on Art and Play. Our clients range from 7 to 18 years and above.
- Extraordinary Campus (18 years old and above) – A Post-18 campus equipping individuals with essential skills and meaningful activities in preparation for successful independent integration into society and gainful employment.
- Creative Lab (7 years old and above) – Art and music are powerful catalysts of expression. We utilise community-supported initiatives as a medium for artists with special needs to pursue art as a vocation and career. Creative Lab empowers individuals with special needs as contributing community members by creating and exhibiting their artwork.
Guests were also treated to an Appreciation Dinner to honour our prize winners and everyone who participated that day.
