Extra•Ordinary People was proud to be a part of "Inclusion: A Sustainable Corporate Strategy", organised by PPHG - Pan Pacific Hotels Group held at Enabling Village, with President Halimah Yacob as the Guest-of-Honour. In conjunction with the launch of President’s Challenge 2020, which will focus on empowering persons with disabilities this year, our Co-founder Mr Wee Boo Kuan shared about our Extra•Ordinary Apprenticeship Programme (EAP), which aims to increase the employability of persons with special needs.


Speed Reading & Comprehension Course - 29 Feb 2020
IRIS Reading held a series of speed reading and comprehension classes which empowered our participants with various memory techniques, improving reading efficiency and comprehension.

Together with the volunteers from CBRE Singpapore, families from Extra•Ordinary People journeyed on foot from Extra•Ordinary Place @ Joo Chiat to CBRE’s office in Paya Lebar Quarter (PLQ). After the inclusive walkathon, our families participated in a fun-filled Family Carnival.

Singapores largest inclusive concert themed “Home, Heart and Hope”, celebrating the artistic abilities of the 900 performers who took to the stage in 24 inclusive teams made up of diverse members from 31 Special Education and mainstream schools, as well as guest performers from Hong Kong, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Presented by Extra•Ordinary People, United Overseas Bank and UOB Art Academy, Extra•Ordinary Creations: Living Cities is an art exhibition that celebrates inclusivity and cohesiveness within the community. The exhibition features winning works of the UOB Art in Ink Awards from Hong Kong, as well as works by differently-abled artists from ADAM Arts Creation, the social enterprise of the Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, ArtSE Singapore, and APSN Chaoyang School.




HERE Arts Carnival - 23 Aug 2019
Extra•Ordinary Ensemble made their debut at the HERE Arts Carnival, held at the National University of Singapore. Conducted by Resident Artists Mr Damien Lim and Ms Irene Jansen, the group comprising of students and caregivers from our new Integrated Performing Arts class and our vocal class put together a special rendition of the classic 'Quando quando quando'.

The exhibition features winning works of the UOB Art in Ink Awards from Hong Kong, as well as works by differently-abled artists from ADAM Arts Creation, the social enterprise of the Arts with the Disabled Association Hong Kong, ArtSE Singapore, and APSN Chaoyang School.




HERE Arts Carnival - 23 Aug 2019
Extra•Ordinary Ensemble made their debut at the HERE Arts Carnival, held at the National University of Singapore. Conducted by Resident Artists Mr Damien Lim and Ms Irene Jansen, the group comprising of students and caregivers from our new Integrated Performing Arts class and our vocal class put together a special rendition of the classic 'Quando quando quando'.
