Camp X 2025
CAMP X IS BACK! CAMP LEADERS & VOLUNTEERS WANTED!
Camp X is back, and we're gearing up for another transformative experience! Join us in empowering youth with disabilities through adventure, learning, and connection. Together, we will make an unforgettable impact on their lives—and yours!
What is Camp X?
Camp X is a 3-day, 2-night stay-in camp open to youth aged 16 to 20 with disabilities. The camp aims to help participants broaden their friendship circles and build confidence in a supportive environment. Each camper will be paired with a volunteer befriender, who will assist them throughout the three days, encouraging them to navigate new experiences and enhance their self-assurance. Camp X aspires to inspire these youths by showcasing the possibilities for their futures.
Join Us in Supporting Youth Campers with Disabilities!
Engage in Experiential Activities: Help youth campers explore outdoor adventures, adaptive sports and participate in panel discussions throughout this 3-day, 2-night camp. Learn About Disability Inclusion: Gain insights into disability inclusion by hearing from individuals with disabilities about their lived experiences. Connect Personally: Build a meaningful connection with your assigned youth camper throughout the camp experience and beyond. Training for Befrienders: All befrienders will receive training to learn more about disabilities and how to engage and support the youth effectively.
